Since a star-spangled debut in 1941, Wonder Woman has been a feminist icon — a full package of beauty, brains and brawn.
To Munnaie Prudencio, two years of working at Elevate PHW have helped her become her own version of wonder woman.
“At any moment she’s ready to fight any battle she’s faced with.”
Born and raised in Albuquerque, Munnaie had been up against obesity since she was a child.
She says there is no diet or exercise program she didn’t try. And while her life as a wife, mother, dental hygienist and baker was fulfilling, she wanted more from life.
“I had tried everything. I got to the point that I knew I needed real help.”
And so she came to Elevate in 2014. She embraced taking one step at a time. And — with each passing week — she saw her progress accelerate.
“I became part of the Elevate family.”
Her coaches — Roman Escandon and Mike Doran — have been with her every step of the way.
“Their support is unlimited.”
While she says she “still has her struggles,” Munnaie feels more mobile, stronger, healthier and (maybe most importantly) happier.
“I believe in what Elevate stands for — Performance. Health. Wellness.”
“She can do anything,” Munnaie says of Wonder Woman.
“I am a wonder woman.”
