How not to get sick this winter It’s in the air. Literally.
No doubt you have noticed the number of workout partners, office mates and children in your lives running around with coughs, colds, sore throats and the flu. It’s that time of year, people, and even the CDC says this year’s flu vaccination may not be more than 40 percent effective. Yikes.
- Avoiding contact or proximity to those who are obviously ill (runny noses, coughs, sneezing).
- Regular hand washing and good personal hygiene.
- Avoiding sharing cups/water bottles and cutlery.
- Eat well
- Get plenty of sleep
